- Journal of Walter Medhurst, describing his voyage up the East Coast of the Malayan Peninsula [Malaka], August - October 1828. Records his attempt to meet up with Charles Gutzlaff and Jacob Tomlin, only to discover they had already left for Siam. There is also a duplicate copy of this journal. Published in the Quarterly Chronicle, January and April 1830. ( en )
