This particular copy was collected by the Council for World Mission / London Missionary Society archive : the West Indies & British Guiana Odds : John Smith Case Papers. John Smith, missionary affiliated with the London Missionary Society, was found guilty at a court martial in 1824 of 'conspiracy and rebellion' in relation to his anti-slavery activities and specifically a slave revolt.
