General Note:
The Tientsin School Association established the Tientsin School in 1905 'to promote the education, through the medium of the English language, of those children of Tientsin and the country dependent on Tientsin for whom English is the native language'. In 1918, the Association transferred the School to the British Municipal Council, part of the British Concession, after which it was renamed Tientsin Grammar School. Today (2021), the School is known ast Tianjin 20 Middle School.
