Notes
- Abstract:
- Women standing behind the cornerstone of Roome Chapel, laid 1878 A.D.
- General Note:
- The location of Roome Chapel is unknown. It is presumed to be Guyana, probably in Demerara, possibly in Georgetown. Alternatively, the chapel may have been named for James Roome (Roome, James (1806-1870)). See: Chronicle of the London Missionary Society (1870. p.200-201), as well as various entries in the Evangelical Magazine and Missionary Chronicle (1849-1857) placing James Roome in Georgetown, Guyana.
