Writes in . Christmas 1983 of her own and her family's varied experiences. Eduardo, Margery's husband was Purchasing Manager of Co-opop(Co~operacio Pop-ulaire), and in Nov., became Executive Director of ONAA, a branch of Co-opop responsible for distributing food products (donated and domestic) to needy areas of the country in close association with international relief agencies such as the World Food Program of the U.N. In spite of this promotion, with inflation being 120% Eduardo's salary has been halved in value, so it has been a year of belt-tightening for them all. Still, by combining business with pleasure they were able to make a couple of interesting and relatively inexpensive trips. The first was in June when they went to Cusco, taking in the famous Inti Kaymi Festival., a reenactment of Sacsa-huaman. After that were 12 hours...”

“...she said, 57 years of married happiness. In 1976 she wrote of her family of two sons, two daughters, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her daughter in notifying us of her Mother's death said, "She still remembered her days at Chefoo School as some of her happiest."
Waltep Tyler: - Chefoo 1918-1928. passed away in Sunnybrook Hospital on Feb.15th 1984. He had been in a coma for several days following surgery for a brain cyst, and diabetic problems. Few were better know in our Toronto Association than was Walter.
He was so active on our Committee, was our Treasurer for 20 years, and 'sat at the receipt of custom', collecting Annual dues and ticket fees at each Reunion. He did it all so well, and meticulously, as he did everything. After Chefoo, Walter came to Toronto and joined the staff of the Bank of Toronto (later the Toronto-Dominion Bank), with whom he stayed until retirement. His special skills in accounting, however, did not end there. He gave an additional five years of service...”
