The members of the G.B. Branch will be interested to know that the gifts for the children of the present "Chefoo" which they so kindly sent, in addition to their annual subscription in 1975, amounted to over one hundred pounds sterling. This was sent to O.M.F. Headquarters in London and the following is an extract from the letter of the Secretary - Mr. Guy Longley. (June 1976) For the past 12 years I have been a fulltime music teacher - piano classes at Public Schools at noon hour and after school 2 days a week. After 2 years in classes, many pupils continue with private lessons at my apartment the other 4 days. After several years with a good organ teacher at the Royal Conservatory, I play the organ at the church of St. Jude when the organist is away, and during the summer. Also I do publicity -information to papers and radio about 2 painters who have exhibitions of paintings and conduct summer schools. My older brother WILSON, 596, Durie Street,
Toronto, Ontario M6S 3H1 is still busy with an import - export firm - goes to customs to arrange for imports to be admitted to Canada etc. He also is a very interested member of the Federation of Ontario, and the Toronto Field Naturalists...”

Aug.1976 - I am finally a grandmother (for the first time). My grandson William Aaron Eanes was born here in Roanoke, on June 29th. They’re calling the baby Aaron. All my family remain well, and I'm still teaching Math, in one of our elementary schools.
