The C S. A. Tennis competition was duly played to a conclusion on Foundation Day. The successful competitors were J. F. Gardiner and Ruth Dilley, who duly received the tennis racquets presented by the Association. We have received charming letters of thanks from the recipients.

The Shanghai summer reunion was duly held early in August, and took the form as usual of a swimming party. The prolonged heat of the Summer was then at its worst, and proved an incentive to duck in the cooling waters of the pool. Many Chefooites took advantage of the occasion, but many were out of town.
