OR the first time, we believe, in the history of the Magazine, Canada has in this issue a definite and distinct section, and hence we take this opportunity on behalf of the Canadian Publication Committee of saying a few words to Chefooites everywhere on the significance of this, from the Canadian viewpoint. There has been constituted in Canada a short time ago, a Publication Committee, charged by this branch of the Association with the duty of rendering adequate literary aid to the Editorial Committee in London. It has been felt here in Toronto, at least, that there has been in rhe past far too much apathy and laxity concerning this very important sphere of C.S.A. endeavour—the Mag. Apathy because Chefooites persistently refuse or neglect to contribute articles and renew subscriptions. Laxity because executives, committees and other high authorities regard C.S.A. affairs as too petty to merit their serious attention or full energy. Hence...”
