- Chefoo magazine appeared as the Chefoo Schools Association, Great Britain Branch newsletter in 1931. It was rebranded as Chefoo on the cover and Chefoo Schools Association, Great Britain Branch newsletter internally in April 1932 and continued as such until the end of 1945. It adopted new numbering with the 1931 change. At the start of 1946, the magazine was again rebranded, now as C.S.A. magazine; and, it continued as such through the end of 1964. At the start of 1965, together with changes of typography and presentation, it appears to have become Chefoo, with a statement of responsibility by the Chefoo Schools Association. In December 1986, the journal returned to the title Chefoo magazine. In 1991, beginning with the joint Volume 84, numbers 1 and 2, the journal took the title of The Chefusian for this and only this number. It then returned to the Chefoo magazine. Its last issue was published in 2018. Periodically, a China Supplement or China Edition was also published, with volume and number designations matching those of the main edition.
