Abstract:
Wood block prints believed to have been created by Beatrice Kitchen (note the K mark). Beatrice Kitchen was the wife of John Kitchen a Canadian Methodist missionary. Beatrice and John Kitchen were married in 1918 and assigned to China in 1920, moving to Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China (中国四川省成都市) in 1922. Beatrice Kitchen often signed her work with the letter K.
