We cannot conclude this year’s report on Madagascar without recording the retirement of Miss P. E. Hubner, who for many years has been the Madagascar Secretary’s secretary. Miss Hubner entered the service of the Society in 1919, and graduated to the Madagascar post which she held with distinction and efficiency, and won for herself the affection of secretaries, missionaries and the many Malagasy visitors for whom she cared.
