01241, 01243-01246, 01519-21 Banjara dance from Andhra Pradesh. Vasanti says Banjaras are gypsies, who originally from Rajasthan, have spread throughout India. Flashing pieces of mirror are sewn into the women's dresses.
02022-7- On the back three prints say "Madras." Vasanti says the dance is Karagam. The three horizontal stripes on the forehead are called tripundra, are made of holy ash, and are applied to the forehead by worshipers of Lord Shiva. They symbolise spiritual knowledge.
01507 Gujerat, the Ras dance.
01513 Himachel Pradesh. Using white yak's tail
01523 The Gonds of Madhya Pradesh with the stilts they use for fast travel in their forests during the rainy season.
01426, 7 Maharashtra Fishermens Dance, also known as Koli.
01428-30 Manipuri. Pong cholam dance. The white turbans are taken off and laid on the ground during the dance.
01434-6 George Blaker indicated that the costumes of the North East Frontier warriors include bearskins on the men's backs, and boar tusks.

Andhra Pradesh: 3 of Banjara dancers.
Bihar: 17 photos of Asuras of Bihar, 3 of Oraon dancers from Jaria village near Ranchi, Bihar; 2 of Sher Shah's tomb at Sasaram, Bihar. Some overlap with dance photos above, but not all.
Gujerat: 4 of dancers including one of Ras dance.
Himachel Pradesh: 5 of dancers, one mentions Kinnaur District.
