Ocular trauma is an important public health problem worldwideandcan leadto significant visual impairmentand lossof vision. Annually morethan 2.4 million cases of ocular trauma with morethan 40,000 patients sustain significant visual impairment permanently due to ocular trauma and isthe second leading cause of unilateral blindness in Nepal accounting for 13.6% of total blindness.5-6
