Janamasākhī

Janamasākhī, a life of Baba Nānak (also known as Guru Nānak), said to have been
dictated by Bhāī Bālā (also known as Bala Sandhu) to his disciple Bālā Paira Mokha, fifth
day, second fortnight of Vaisakh, Samvat 1582 (1525 CE). Panjabi
text. Manuscript, written on paper in clear Gurmukhi
characters with ruled margins. Colophons (f. 304 verso)
states that work was completed in Samvat 1912, Asu
16 (1855 CE).
