Notes
- General Note:
- Original bound in volume 1 of 3.
- General Note:
- Hand-drawn, with hand colouring.
- General Note:
- Also attributed to Octavian Dalvimart, engraved by various artists, and published by William Miller in a volume entitled 'Costume Of Turkey' (London, 1802). This is likely not the case as the style of this illustration is different from that of Dalvimart. Indeed, Dalvimart appears to have been a copist; his images and their settings bear a strong likeness to those of CousineÌry.
- General Note:
- The Crimean Khanate was as vassal state of the Ottoman Empire from 1449 through 1783
