Norman has given many years of time and energy to the Association both on the Great Britain Committee and behind the scenes. He is a frequent contributor of articles in the magazine. I would like to thank him for the support he has given me since I took over the position of magazine editor. As we have recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of VJ day, I make no apologies for the number of items included in this edition that relate to that day - so important to many of you.
