Where as the Hyderabad
Land Commission established
under section 87 of the Hyder-
abad Tenancy and Agricultural
lands Act. 1950 (XXL of 1950)
hits submitted its recommenda-
tions for delimitation of local
Areas and determination of the
extent of family holdings and
the Government has accepted
the said recommendations;

And whereas the Govern-
ment is satisfied that for some
local areas it is necessary and
expedient to vary the limits of
family holdings specifiad in sub
section (2) of sections 4 of the
said Act for ensnrino- that the
value of produce after deducting
fifty persent, there from as cost
of cultivation is Rs. 800;

Now therefore, in exercise
of the powers conferred by sec-
tion 3 mid 4 of the said Act, the

Rajparmukh hereby specifies and
delimits under section 3 the are-
as each of winch slmll constitute
a local vere of and determines
under section 4 the extent of
land which shall be regarded as
a family holding for each class
in each kind of soil in the said
local areas in the folloing
manner;

1. Ech district shown in
Col. 1, of the schedule annexed
here to shall be delimited in lo-
cal areas as shown in col. 3, of
the said schedule.

2. (1) In recpect of each .,f
the said local areas the extent of
family holding for each class of
dray land shall be the acreage
shown in col. 4, or col. a, of the
senedule against the said h cal
areas.

(11) In recpect of each of
the said local areas the extent of
family holding for all classes of
single crop wet lands shall be
the acreage shown in col. (5, the
schedule against the said local
area.

Provided how ever that for
all the land irrigated under the
following projects irrespective of
the local area in which they are
situated the extent of family.

Provided further that
for the porppses of detemi-
ning the extent of family
holdings for wet lands.

fa) All lends irrigated
exclusively under wells or
Bhurkies, situated within
or outside the ayacut, and
use for the Budget or paddy
crops shall be treated as
dry lands.

(b) Lands irrigated un-
der private kuntas constru-
cted with the permission of
the Government and asse-
ssed at dry rates, shall be
treated as dry lands.

(c) Subject to the cks-
ue (b) above only such lan-
ds shall be treated as a si-
ngle crop or duble crops
wet lands or lands under
light irrigation which have
been irrigated as such uu-
der flow water for not less
then six years during the
perioofromG 1944 to 1953
in the case of New irrigat-
ions sources however only
such land be treated as sin-
gle or duble crop wtt lands
or lands under light irriga-
tion whi(:h have been irre-
gated as such under flow

percent of the crops seasons
occurring after the construction
of the said sources of irrigation.

(d) Where for a double crop
land under a joint source, Tabi
js entirely under well, the land
shall subject however to clause.

(c) Above be treated as a sin-
gle crop wet lands.

(Ill) In the ca?e of double
crop wet lands one acre

of the double crop w^t
lands shall be treated as one
and a half acre of a single
crop wet lands of the local
acre concerned.
(IV) In the case of light irr-
igation under flow an here
of land uudtr light irriga-
tion shall b@ treated as ecq-
ual to two. acres of dry
lands vf the local area
concerned.
