Biographical history: Shakeei Ahmed was born in around 1925. He was an activist with Quit India and was jailed during British rule. He was a member of the Congress Socialist Party and in later life advised trade unions on labour cases. He married Akhtar Jehan.

Biographical history: Akhtar Jehan was born in around 1925. Before Partition she was the Head of the Urdu and Persian Department at Delhi College. She later became a college principal. She married Shakeei Ahmed.
