- Abstract:
- The MS as a whole contains the material collected by Hichens, in order to provide a comprehensive book on Swahili literature. However, the material is very scattered and quite disorganized. This project is similar to the compilation, by Hichens, of the Diwani ya Malenga (Mss 53495, 53491, 53490). This section contains scattered information and listing of the poems to be included, on the basis of information provided by Kijumwa and Hamilton. The poems are listed in alphabetical order by reference to the first word of their first line. ( en )
