The Kitab al-Shifa bi Huquq Ta’rif al-Mustafa (Healing by the Recognition of the Reality of the Chosen One), known popularly as just al-Shifa, is a book that is frequently used throughout the Muslim world in which the life, characteristics, qualities and miracles of the Prophet Muhammad are detailed. It’s author, Qadi Iyad, was born in Ceuta, and lived for a while in Granada where he became a judge. He is buried in Marrakesh.
