This issue deals includes "negro" marriages, as ordered in Council, on 7 Sep[tember], 1838." regarding the colonies of British Guiana [present day Guyana], Trinidad [present day Trinidad and Tobago], St. Lucia, the Cape of Good Hope [in present day Republic of South Africa], and Mauritius.
