Text on cover states: 'Bought on Saturday 17th February 1979 / March 28' and inside cover states: 'Recuerdos año 1979' [transl. Recollections, 1979] however notes appear to be mostly made in 1983. Includes: diary entries in Spanish (16 January 1983-5 May 1983); Notes in English on military topics, including 'War Aim', 'Political Conditions and Relations', 'Directive for SCS', 'War Preliminary Studies'; draft letter to Drive and Vehicle Licensing Centre (5 March 1983); draft letter in Persian; illustrations of military armaments, horses, female figures, and AC-DC (band) logo (some possibly by Djam's son Kamran Djam). Handwritten. Ruled pages. Flip-notepad.
