- Portraits include local indigenous leaders and their wives, such as King Aquah, King Bell, and King Boma; individual and group portraits of indigenous peoples, including the Bulies people of Fernando Po; and individual and group portraits of Western traders. Scenes include the Govenor's residence at Big Batanga; various Western owned factories in Big Batanga, and views of shipping and the coast at Fernando Po [Bioko, Equatorial Guinea], Gold Coast [Ghana], and Gabon.
